Multi-Stakeholder Review of the National Community Driven Development Project
The fourth annual union level Multi-Stakeholder Review of the National Community Driven Development Project took place 21-22 September in Naypyidaw. The objective of the MSR is to provide an open forum for all stakeholders to review experiences from the fourth project cycle and to design next year, the fifth project cycle. The event brought together over 798 participants, including community representatives, township and union level project staff, civil society groups, government officials, and development partners and we we’re excited to be a part of it this year.
After two inspiring opening speeches from H.E. Dr. Aung Thu, Union Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and irrigation, and Ms. Hellen Goldstein, country director, the World Bank, our MPC team discussed the importance of professional project management in the development of our country. After the workshop, we let the DRD staff evaluate their knowledge by taking an assessment test on the fundamentals of project management.
