The Future Of Finance Myanmar Fellowship Germany Visit

The Future of Finance Myanmar Fellowship was established for senior representatives of Myanmar’s financial and bank sector to provide an opportunity for bank owners and top management to develop a better understanding of international finance, banking trends, hot topics and new opportunities. The goal is to inspire and empower the participants to contribute to the strengthening of Myanmar’s financial sector and find opportunities for change.

2018 a trip was arranged to Germany with a blended-learning Executive Education programme provided by Frankfurt School of Finance & Management – Europe’s top-ranked business school – and visits to relevant companies for the topics studied. 

Initiated by Myanmar Financial Center (MFC), the plan is to transform and inspire Myanmar Bank leaders with training and industry visits in global financial centers and leading education institutions.

Our Mission is to bring Myanmar’s Capacity to the next level by creating Certified Professionals.

We do this by cover topics such as

  • Project Management (PMI)
  • Retail Banking (RBA)
  • Lending & Credit Risk (Omega)
  • Wealth Management (AIWM)

  Highlights from 2018 Fellowship Programme

  • Business class travel with Emirates via Dubai to Frankfurt with stay in the heart of the financial district and the historical city center, at the tradition-steeped Steigenberger Frankfurter Hof since 1876.
  • Five Executive Education sessions covering global economics and strategic finance down to digital currencies, key trends and  the frameworks, models and levers that drive them
  • Industry meetings with DIFC in Dubai, Banks in Frankfurt and Corporates in Munich.
  • Visits to vineyards, luxury shopping and an exclusive day with Mercedes in Stuttgart test driving eight AMG models.
